B A C K G R O U N D:

Founded in 1996, the company is named after Todd and Kristy's two Labrador Retrievers, Polar (yellow lab) and Onyx (black lab). Their names were combined to form Polonyx Digital Design, "Your Creativity Lab".

Kristy Watson is a graduate of Michigan State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Studio Art and a Bachelor of Science degree in Geography. Her design career began as Design Coordinator at a map company named Gousha, a division of Simon and Schuster. Next, Kristy enhanced her design experience at Hampton-Brown, a children's book publisher.

Todd Watson is a graduate of Michigan State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Materials and Logistic Management - Purchasing and Operations Management. His business career started at Simpson Paper Company in the Production Planning department. His next experience led him to The Gambrinus Company, the importer of Corona Extra beer and brewers of Shiner Bock. Here he worked as an Operations Analyst before leaving to work at Polonyx.
